The Meadowlands Chamber has established an economic development focused “think tank” style affiliate called the Meadowlands 2040 Foundation, Inc. , a 501c3 not-for-profit corporation with C-Suite level business leaders compromising its Board of Trustees.
The mission of the “2040 Foundation” is to provide Leadership, Vision, Education and Action with research and public awareness of a long-term vision to plan for a growing and sustainable economy through the year 2040.
One of the primary goals for the 2040 Foundation is to enhance the local and regional economy and improving the overall quality of life for the Greater Meadowlands community. The foundation Trustees have identified informational outreach as key to its mission. The 2040 Foundation will help promote awareness and provide programming of economic development and workforce development, leadership and entrepreneurship programs to ensure that our region maintains a high standard of human capital and also innovates to meet the needs of growing businesses. A highly educated workforce and strong communities will help retain existing companies and attract new businesses to relocate and invest in the Meadowlands region. The foundation is comprised of business leaders that have deep roots in the region and a strong commitment to improving the area for those who live and work here.
