The Bergen Volunteer Center is proudly redefining volunteerism. Here, we inspire, train, and develop volunteers, and leaders, who strengthen our community through meaningful service and effective community engagement. Our community based programs, Bergen Mentors, CHORE, the Business Volunteer Council, Youth Engagement and Bergen LEADs, help address issues facing the county utilizing the power of volunteers. In 2016, the Bergen Volunteer Center will celebrate 50 years of impact in our community. Our ability to adapt in an ever changing economic and social environment has been, and will continue to be, the key to our enduring success. We look forward to ensuring that nonprofits, corporations and organizations expand their capacity to provide valuable opportunities for the community to get involved and give back.
